<p>It depends on your school. I asked my school to send my first quarter grades because I was really happy with them, but some of my friends requested that they didn't send grades until the end of the semester.</p>

<p>Quarter grades are generally sent to EA/ED schools (many require/request them), but not to RD schools. RD schools get semester grades with the midyear report.</p>
<p>At some schools the process is automatic. Check with your GC.</p>
