On the June 2006 SAT I, I got a 700 on the Critical Reading section. I would like to raise my score up to the mid-700s, but I don't really see a method besides studying a lot of vocab. Is memorizing vocab any useful and are there other way to increase my score at this point? I'd appreciate any advice!

umm i think someone said to get baron;s for vocab . not sure tho

Hey, I gave a really long advice list about how to raise CR score on a different thread. Check out the Is it possible to study TOO much for the SAT?? thread in the SAT prep forum...if you liked my writing tips (one of you PMd me) then maybe the CR ones will help too!

ok, thanks j07! oksannadog613, are you talking about the "How to Prepare for the SAT"?

Can anyone tell me how to get a high score in CR? I am also a non-native speaker. I took some practice tests, but i always got a low score in CR.

Thank everyone.
