High subject test score, low score for sat 1

Well this may seem kind of awkward. I got 800 on the sat math ll but for some freaking reason i only got 690 in the sat 1 for math. Would my 800 offset the low sat 1 score?? As i retook the test and actually got 680!
I got 2010 (superscored) in the sat, if that helps and im an international student

good going with the mathII

There seem to be a lot of people who are taking issue with the math section.

I don’t see why you are sweating it. You have nothing to improve on the SAT2 math front, so if you have another chance, improve on the SAT1 score. At least focus on the math section alone next time around, so it will pull up your superscore.

I would expect the score to offset the other, but considering the fact that the SAT1 pulls a lot more weight than the SAT subject tests, do try to improve it.

I didn’t get the part about you retaking the test.

good luck- fellow international applicant
