Subject is pretty self explanatory. I go to a pretty well known New England prep school and will be attending a top school next year. (not a large university with huge name brand recognition, but top ~5 liberal arts school) I have limited work experience, simple stuff like working at the local pool. High scores on standardized tests...does any of this stuff matter? Any place you suggest I look? Thanks for the help...

even though i've had paid and unpaid internships (national and international ) during my high school years, i'm planning to spend one summer on a job just having fun and being a teenager before actually going into the real world.
work at some place with friends or something because it'll be meaningful before going to college.

anyways, if you don't want to be like me, you could always ask your parents, profs, friend's friend's dad/mom/uncle, etc. to see if they could land you an internship in business, medical or w/e.

At this point, getting an internship won't do you that much good unless you are looking to get some experience in the field you want to major in. I would agree with nicesocks in saying that you should just get a regular job for the summer.
