Hill, Taft, Peddie, or Loomis?

My friends and I who were accepted to these schools are having a passionate debate on which school is the best.

So, what do you think is the best and the worst?

Choices: Hill, Taft, Peddie, and Loomis

Please rank the four schools, being 1 the highest.

1:
2:
3:
4:

Ok, I’ll bite; Where ever you and your friends decided to attend is #1 and that’s all that counts.

I’m with ops, these schools are QUITE different in terms of culture. They’re all pretty damn hot academically, so I don’t think there’s much to worry about there. So…NJ culture? PA culture? CT culture/traditional or CT culture/a bit more progressive (at least comparatively)? That’s how I’d differentiate, not on someone else’s ranking.

 2. Peddie
 3. Hill
 4. Loomis

PERSONAL OPINION:

 1. Peddie/Loomis
 2. Hill

Can you guys rank the four schools according to college matriculations?

1.Taft
2.Hill
3.Loomis
4.Peddie

Um…I don’t know about the other schools, but I thought Peddie had okay matriculation. UPenn, Cornell, GW, and Georgetown. All I can say is that they have prepared countless kids for college, they do amazingly well, and it’s your life to work with.

I personally think that in regards to academic rigor, they are pretty much on the same level. And, academic rigor is what you make of it. Taft probably has the most prestige, however. Peddie and Hill are talked about less because of their location. The feel of these schools are all very different. This is why flat rankings don’t always work.

Prereview stats on Ivy marticulation:

 1. Peddie
 2. Taft
 3. Loomis
