*Hispanic International Students* Where did you get in? Advice?

I am going to apply next year as a Mexican International student, so I wanted to hear people's stories about were they were accepted. Also any advice they can give me. Thanks

International student here from Latin America. Applied last year and was accepted to Colgate, Uva, and Amherst College. 2160 SAT and top 3% of class. PM me if you need any advice!

International from Mexico here, got into Smith, but since I applied EDII I never found out about the others. Not that I mind, though, I love Smith. I read some of your other posts and saw that you needed FA, which might make it significantly harder to get in, but it’s definitely possible. But I read you were considering med school, and that’s a whole other problem. Like others mentioned, some med schools don’t accept internationals, and it’s very expensive. Where are you planning on living after graduating? If you’re considering Mexico, it might just be easier to study college at a top school there, like UNAM (admission is based on a single exam, I think a score of 108/120 or something like that is needed for med school). It’s free and you’d go right into med school. If you’re staying in the US, this isn’t really an option, so you’d need to find a way of working around the money situation. If you really want to do med school in the US, you’d probably be better off going somewhere cheap for undergrad so you don’t graduate with loans.

In any case, some schools that offer aid for internationals are Colby, Colgate, Lafayette, the Seven (or rather 5) sisters, Brandeis, Oberlin, and some others I can’t remember. And of course, the Ivies and other top schools, but I only looked at small-ish LACs, so I don’t know about those. Feel free to message me if you have any questions, I’d type more advice, but I’m on my phone, so typing takes too long.
