So i know that on the commonapp when you had to list the subjects you were currently taking, NYU asked specifically for the different categories (english, math, science, language, other etc). my only worry is that is asked for HISTORY as one of the subjects but i dont take history. is this a problem?

my school program allows you to choose only one social science (either history, geography, or economics) and i take econ. do i need history? im really nervous because it doesnt seem like it would be fair............

But it doesn't even matter at this point as the deadline was yesterday??? Unless you're a junior or something. I didn't take a language this year so I just left it blank so...

If it helps at all, I'm not taking a history course this year (I'm taking an International Business class instead...I think I still listed it under history on the app though because I didn't have room on the "other courses" spot...), and I also left the science spot on the app blank, and I ended up getting into NYU ED. So I think you'll be fine.

ok perfect, thanks both of you! and by the way jkwhat, i am a senior so i know there's nothing i can do at this point because the app is long sent off by now but i was just wondering. i just ended up listing econ in the history spot like dancerad64. CONGRATS on getting in ED by the way, dancerad. that's incredible!
