History Major, Looking for a Minor?

Hi there! My name is Kaylee and I am currently a sophomore majoring in history. I am looking to pick up a minor that would help to broaden my chances of getting a job after graduation, but I need some advice on which to choose. Right now I have it narrowed down to: Communications, American Studies, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, or Political Science.

I have no idea what I would like to do after college, but I have been thinking about possibly going to law school. I have also been thinking about possibly looking for a job in the government.

Please send some advice my way. School advisors have not been helpful at all at this point! I would really like to declare a minor within the next couple of weeks so that I can begin taking minor classes in the fall. Thanks again!

I majored in pol sci and minored in history. I went to law school after that back in the 80’s.

What I suggest to you is that you look over the requirements of each minor, check the schedule for next fall (it’s up at my DD’s school already), talk to some kids in those depts and then pick the one that interests you most given the other parameters.
