I've done all of the BB and all QASs that i can find before 07.... and i'm still at a 2150.. Now that i've moved on to PR 11 tests, my score has gone to a measly 2000. WHAT THE HELL. i used to be able to get like 800s on reading, now im like getting 700s...what's wrong?! i want a 2400 and im taking the test in March. what do i do? and anyone have newer QAS or last 4 tests of OC?

maybe you are over thinking the reading. Also if your math and writing scores are low (which I assume they are) you shouldn’t waste time with practice tests, but instead learn the material (grammer rules etc…). You won’t get a 2400, or anywhere close, if you just keep taking practice tests.

math i know all the concepts, i just make stupid errors like misreading or solving for the wrong variable. Writing has improved for me a lot but somehow using PR writing, i got like 6 wrong… i was getting only 1-2 wrong on CB ones.

A lot of people do think that the PR tests are harder than the CB ones. The CB ones are a more accurate depiction of your actual score

I would only use PR for SATII’s, not the SATI.

thanks qwerty, i would like some other opinions regarding the difficulty as well since some of the writing questions were SO awkward… and @greed, i would but im outta CB material, i’ve done the first 6 OC tests and all the QASs i can find before 08…if you got any hit me up…

and advice other people? most of my math errors now even in the harder PR math sections are from carelessness or not reading something carefully resulting in me solving for the wrong variable or something. Writing got blown up by PR but i was getting like only 1-3 errors on the last few CB tests. and CR has just gone downhill. I was consistently getting 800s before, now its just like low 700s… this is so frustrating. i want that 2400.

Have you tried giving yourself more time on the math section so that you can read each question carefully? Maybe allow yourself an extra 10 minutes and see if you can score the 800 that you want. If so, just keep dropping a couple minutes every time you take a new test. That way, you won’t get as frustrated from seeing low scores.

I don’t know other people’s strategy in math, but what I do is finishing the section with in 10 minutes (8 minutes is usual for me) and check the whole section by redoing all of them and spending last 5 minutes on questions towards the end.

I hope this helps.

wow idk how you can finish that quickly…

also, is PR CR reliable or good practice for actual exams?
