Hmmm... chance me!

Female, white, senior

My SAT scores: 720 - CR, 700- Writing, 570- Math
SAT IIs: US history - 690, Literature- 680

Mostly As in school since freshman year, but with a B or two thrown in. All honors or AP level.

Top 10%, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, English Scholar Award.

Lots and lots of extracurriculars including community service and almost 15 years of music lessons. I'm also the editor of my school newspaper.

My main concern is the gap between my math scores and my CR/writing. It's making it very hard to find a match school... (I would be majoring in something to do with writing, though).

I'm looking at:
Ithaca College
Bard College
Columbia University
University of Hartford

Any other suggestions?
Chance me!

...no one?

In at Hartford and and Ithaca. How about Ursinus, St Lawrence and Drew.

In at Ithaca and Hartford. I can't chance on the others with any certainty, but go for it. Only your math is out of line. Since Ithaca and Hartford are pretty much safeties, look for a couple of matches, as suggested in prior post. Good luck.

No at Columbia.

Thanks!
I actually looked at Ursinus and I like the sound of it. St. Lawrence is also looking very promising.

I'm also about Bard... they're SAT optional.
Would those SAT scores (esp. for math) help me or hurt me?

Honestly, I'm not sure about which would be the best way to go with that. You seem like a good candidate for Bard. Is it possible to set up an interview? That may help. Sorry, I know this isn't much help. Good luck!
