Okay. so the UC’s want a 1000 word max limit. I have 1060 total for three essays. The main essay is about 50 words short of the min 600 words and the other two essays are 50 over. Is this discrepency ok?
<p>try putting it on the online application and press "word count"... the processor will cut you off after a limit, it may be 210 for the short, i'm not sure but i know for the long one they cut you after 630</p>

<p>Never go over the limit they give....it's there for a reason...I know a kid who had test scores/extracurriculars way above average for his top choice school but he did not get in.....Later I found that he wrote like 600 words for a max 500 essay.</p>
