Holly Apartments

Hey anyone that has ever lived in the Holly apartments can you describe to me what it's like in there? The housing website has very limited info and I won't get a chance to see what it's like until I actually move in. Thanks for any details you can provide.

Nothing wrong with Holly other than they’re a little pricey and the rooms aren’t very large. Holly is convenient to everything on campus. With campus housing you don’t usually have to sign a one year lease like you usually have to with private apartments off campus, and you won’t likely have same hassles that you can have dealing with private apt. managers often times.

Holly was fine. I lived there last school year. Indeed, it is quite pricey and you are paying the premium for living on campus. You get your own sleep space with a desk within. You will walk in and think “Holy small!” but you will adjust nicely. Every pod and Holly building, I found each to be unique in their own way. My floor was mostly Junior years, hence allot of us wear academically busy.

I loved the on-campus aspect. Marshall Center, hardly a 10 min walk. Same with the Library. And the Gym was barley 15 min.

Management was good also. Within me and my roommates we had a few maintenance issues come up. Put out a request and a maintenance person was at our door the next morning. All in all, I decided not to continue living on campus for this year just because it was time to move on.
