<p>Ok so PRE-MED isn't a major. So whats the next best option? Bio, Chem, BioChem, Bio-Medical? For those who are going to say choose your interest, I'm still trying to explore my interests. So then what major would be a good to do that and ensure I get to med school through interest and merit?</p>

<p>No no no. That’s a misinterpretation of the chart. 57% of people who apply are biology majors, and 56% of people who get in are biology majors. That means it doesn’t matter.</p>
<p>I found biochemistry to be a good major for MCAT prep, but only because i didn’t have to worry about fitting the pre-reqs into a full schedule</p>
