hi i applied to cornell ed last month
and just about now i found out that i misspelled a PROFESSOR'S NAME on my supplementary essay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is really frustrating because
1. i checked spellings&grammar lots of times
2. i actually am really interested in the professor's works, so i know his name for sure!
i have no idea how i got to spell his name wrong
and the idea that i misspelled a professor's name in my essay for my dream school is greatly disturbing me now
and i need to know for sure whether or not i am officially auto-rejected
and whether or not i should contact cornell about my mistake.

It’s really not going to matter at all. Honestly the person reading the essay will probably forget about it by the end.

I made sure to copy and paste the name of the professor, whose works i read, in my supplement essay :)

happenes that i spelled it right…
thank god!!! thanks anyways.

wow you really freaked out hard about that

Depends how obvious the spelling mistake is. My guess is that the they won’t notice…
