Can anyone shed some light on the homeland security studies program at Tulane? How does it compare to other schools', I think George Washington U offers it too?

Additionally, can an undergraduate even take classes in the School of Continuing Studies? If so, are classes usually at night?

I don’t know much about the Homeland Security Program, but full time undergrads can take classes at the SCS. There might be some restrictions, but generally there isn’t a problem. Yes, the classes are usually in the evening. Go to [Tulane University - Class Schedule](Tulane University Schedule of Classes) 1) select the Uptown campus, 2) select Homeland Security as the subject, 3) click on either “All Courses” or “Continuing Studies Only” (you get the same results). You will see the offerings for next semester.

I got to wondering if this major was only for students enrolled in the SCS, but it is listed as a major for Newcomb-Tulane College as well, so that is not a problem. Here is an article from a few years ago about the program:
[Tulane University - A Clear and Present Safety](http://tulane.edu/news/newwave/041910_homeland_security.cfm) The third to last paragraph addresses the kinds of students they are getting.
