Does anyone know if there is a "workaround" for a homeschool student to take an IB test?

To take IB exams, you have to be enrolled in an IB class at an IB school. Classes have very specific time requirements - for example, Higher level classes must meet for a minimum of 240 hours, and each class has an internal assessment that is graded by the IB teacher and sent to IB for moderation. AP is different - you can take an AP exam in a subject without ever taking the class. I would think for a homeschool student, AP exams would be the only possibility.
Incidentally, I teach both IB Biology and AP Biology at a public high school with an IB program.
