Honest opinion Needed. Please.

I'm a citizen of Argentina, and I've been living in the US for 10 years, during which I've attended all 4 years of High school and community college (took me 4 years to graduate due to the fact that I worked like an animal to be able to subsist, and 2 classes at a time was all I could pay for.)

Unfortunately, I cannot afford the premium most universities in NJ are currently asking for, and being a citizen from another country, I do not qualify for financial aid either.
Out of all the schools that offer financial aid to foreign students in the form of scholarships, grants, etc. Harvard seems to be the best.

What are my chances of transferring to Harvard from a Community College?
-I did very well in H.S. (ranked 10 out of a class of 1100)
-Did over 100 hours of community service with the JROTC
-Was part part of rifle team/biathlon
-Didn't do so well in the SAT's (got a combined of 1100 of 1600, due to lack of preparation)
-Did very well in Community college (3.87 GPA), got an Associates degree in Liberal Studies
-Planning to Major in Philosophy
-Planning to apply for financial aid as Independent (I'm 25 y/o)

Do I stand a chance in hell?

Thanks,

Your application is kind of weak and I am not sure whether Harvard accepts application from someone 25 yrs/o…

I’m just going to be brief: nope.

There are many people out there with much higher stats then you, and your situation is not all that “special.” I feel for your situation, but you have to realize how competitive it is.
