it means angered, I think
(don't worry, I can't understand some things he says either)

It is used correctly, but I accidently put an extra "c" in there.

To my knowledge, it means "to irritate" OR "make worse."

i know what it means I just always thought a situation can become excacerbated, I didn't think a person can get excacerbated, maybe I am wrong, regardless I am an engineering major and this argument is dumb...sorry for starting it

DMC,

No matter how verbose you are on this thread, people will hate you because you are Dukie on a Cornell forum.

No matter how idiotic and incoherent Sports sounds, people will back him up because he is a Cornelian.

That said, save your breath.

Sports, its both a synonym of irritate and anger

1) I irritated the itch, so it got worse
2) I angered DMC, he trowned me!

On the SATs it mainly means "to make worse"

I typically don't make it my business to step into these type of threads; however, the lunacy of this whole ordeal is appalling. I posted earlier attempting to dilute collegekid's concerns about going to Cornell, an excellent university, and once again a topic digresses into a Cornell vs. Duke war. Label me a "duke troll", because for the longest, I have tried appeasment, and it does nothing.

sports684: Being an incoming Duke student, you probably believe I have no credibility. That being said, having known DMC in person for a substantial amount of time, I can guarantee you that he--indeed--gained admissions to Cornell.

Furthermore, your inability to form a coherent statement or display any shred of intelligence, makes it highly unlikely that anyone will be working for you--ever. If these posts are indicative of your intelligence, then I am truly mystified as to how you got into a school of Cornell's caliber.

Sports684 once said that he was class "valedictoiran".

Do you still stand by that statement Sports?

BTW, just out of curiousity, how old are you?

I remember that. :)

I really love Cornell and my parents have been to the campus. It is absolutely stunning. However, no one on these boards can truly dissolve into this den of contradiction/fallacy that is sports684's argument. At least not without a smile on their face.
