<p>do indian employers recognize HKU as a top uni??what is it reputation/prestige like in today's age?(read old posts discussing about it which is kinda irrelevant now)</p>
<p>when i told my brother about HKU,he was like "is that a good uni?" now there is always a notion that asian uni aint good (except tokyo and SG unis),one of my class mate got through low,low ranked uni in UK and everybody was like "must be awesome,world class and blahhh blahhhh" </p>
<p>no doubt HKU got stellar rankings both in QS and TIMES. but i had also come across how its only well regarded in HK and that it will be worth it only if you want to get a job there :(</p>
<p>how far is this true? i already got offers from edinburgh uni and hku and i am trying to know more about it. </p>
