Honors after admission

I know that it is possible to join the Honors Program after your first semester at UF. I was just wondering how hard is it to get into that second time? Do they still look at your SAT scores?

I believe admission by “Lateral Admission”, meaning after you’re already at the university, is EXTREMELY competitive. They don’t tend to admit many more people. To give you some idea of what they look for, I’m gonna link you last year’s lateral admission application.

http://www.honors.ufl.edu/forms/Lateral%20Application%20Fall%202009.pdf

I am technically an honors student (at least I get their emails, I havn’t satisfied any of the requirements though). Unless you’re real interested in Hume Hall, I would say being in the honors program doesn’t ultimately matter too too much. Graduating with honors is NOT the same as being in the honors program.
