If you are accepted into the OSU honors or scholars programs can you back out of them?
Yes. At any time. In fact, you will be automatically removed if you just don;t complete the requirements over the first year. Email your respective college’s Honors Advisor (can be found on Buckeyelink or by googling “Ohio State Major honors advisor”. But in all honesty, there are MAJOR perks to being in the program. You get preference for nearly all university academic opportunities (depending on what you’re pursuing).

@OSUGradUndergrad Is it beneficial to be in the honors program as an engineering major or more so for majors where students plan to go on to med school or a graduate school program? Also interested in any feedback concerning the honors dorms? Thanks!
