<p>I got into Honors College, which I still don't really know what it is other than you take a couple of different classes and it looks goods (are the classes actually better or do they have a different names, etc.)? So basically anything anyone can tell me about it is great. </p>
<p>Another thing, when should I choose what program I should do and does anyone have any suggestions? I also heard something about the fact that I'm supposed to decide housing now regardless of whether or not I want to go to UMD. Is that actually true or is housing/selecting a program binding? When does Banneker/Key start and how likely is it to get it? Is it only honors college students because that seems like it'd be 150/1000 which doesn't sound so bad (certainly better than my chances of getting into one of my top schools).</p>
<p>Also, I picked Engineering since it was a LEP but I was wondering how hard is it to switch out of it and when should I switch out of it? I'd like to try it but I doubt engineering is my calling. </p>
<p>Basically, I haven't researched Maryland and I'm hoping for help learning it.</p>
