I think I read this somewhere but can no longer find it. Do applicants to the Honors Program need to have 2 SATII subject test? IF so, can it be in any subject or does it need to correlate with intened major?
Thanks!

At the information session we attended (before my son applied to honors) the presenter stated that SAT II was strongly recommended for Honors College. It was already too late for him to take them, so he applied anyway, and was admitted. He is - however an AP Scholar - so maybe that helped.

If you have a choice - I’m sure any 2 would satisfy the requirements as long as the score is good. I would say take them, but you can call the Udel Honors program or admissions to be sure.

My D was admitted last year. We were told the SAT 11s were strongly suggested. She chose not to take them and was admitted to the honors program with some nice merit money. My D was an AP scholar with honor already at the time of admission and she applied as a very qualified candidate to a very small major. I’m convinced that her choice of major helped because the honors department likes to cover the entire university.
