Honors college

When will students hear if they have been invited into the Honors College? What are the biggest benefits of participating in the Honors College?

I believe we will be notified February 15th.

There is more to it I’m sure, but I know of:
-honors classes
-special seminars
-priority registration (pretty sure)
-optional honors housing (not sure what the reputation of this is though)

sites on the Honors College website about the benefits of being in the Honors College:

The honors dorm is newer, nicer, and has much bigger rooms than normal dorms. I liked it so much I lived there for two years. CHS students also get grad student level privileges at the library (for several classes, I was able to just check the textbook out from the library for the whole semester instead of buying it). Honors students get special events, classes, seminars, and unofficially get more attention and respect from professors (they know you’re a good student and smart).
