In addition to the above, my Aztec in WHC says (in no particular order):

For all WHC (Weber Honors College) students -

  1. Access to great campus, academic, and networking resources
  2. Perfect way to have an instant connection on campus
  3. The interdisciplinary studies minor allows you to study outside of your field/major in a more in-depth way, and the study abroad component is really life-changing
  4. Close relationship with the director and staff at WHC

For freshmen -

  1. An assurance that you get into a residential living community, with all the perks that it brings, including academic mentors on each floor who work with you to devise a four-year grad plan and provide you with other academic supports
  2. Take classes with some of your floor-mates
  3. Outstanding state-of-the-art dorm. Zura re-opened in 2015 after SDSU spent 54 million on a total renovation. Lounges and study rooms on each floor. Absolutely amazing.
  4. Meet lifelong friends
