for business, there is a different application found on their website.

Howdy!
A&M has an Honors Program instead of an Honors College, so you don't have to apply. It allows anyone to take small Honors classes and have early registration if they maintain eligibility. For current students, that is a 3.5 cumulative GPR. For incoming students, you either have to be in the top 10% of your class and have made a 1250 (m+v) on the SAT (minimum 570 in each). Or if you are a Ntl Merit, Ntl Achievement, or Ntl Hispanic you are automatically eligible without the other criteria.
There is a separate application you should fill out though- the one for Honors Scholarships. It's super important if you want a 4 yr scholarship.

Oh, btw... for early registration you have to be enrolled in an Honors class, so that doesn't really apply to incoming freshman.

relientr, where is the application for the honors scholarships?

It's on applytexas.org- but you can go to https://scholarships.tamu.edu/ and click on "Fall 2009-Spring 2010 Incoming Freshman Application" and it should take you to it. Good luck!
