Honors Courses

Do you really need honors courses to get in? I've only taken a couple, and that's because my first two high schools didn't offer them. Will I be ok with a 3.99 GPA and high SATs (keep in mind I will be taking 4 honors and 3 AP courses next year, my senior year)?

Thanks!

This isn't the Ivy League, what are you thinking? seriously, youre in,
guaranteed!

Thanks... any more suggestions?

i dont think IU is a very hard school to get into...

I'm aware that it isn't, but I have a few concerns:

1) I didn't take a math course my soph year because my school didn't offer Algebra II (it's a long story, there were legit reasons). It was completely out of my control. Side note: I scored perfectly on the PSAT math section, so it's not like I suck at math.

2) It's my junior year and I'm only in Biology I. First, I was forced to take physical science my freshman year and then i took chemistry my soph year. Will this be a problem.

Otherwise, I have a 3.99 gpa and hopefully i'll score high on my sat's. I just don't want to feel like an idiot, getting rejected by iu with a 3.99. Thanks, everyone.

just prepare for the sat/act right now... doing well on those tests are more important now... are u a senior?

I doubt any of those concerns you have will be problems. Order of science courses will not matter at all. Check out the IU site listing requirements for prospective students: http://www.indiana.edu/~iuadmit/highschool/standards.shtml
According to it, IU only requires 6 semesters of math, so you will be fine.

I'm aware there is only a slim chance of not getting accepted, but now I'm worried about not getting enough financial aid. I guess I'll have to do well on SATs for that.
