Honors Housing

Okay, so I was recently accepted into the Burnett Honors College for the Fall 2014 semester and was curious to know about the social scene in the towers. I was told that the honors community lives in Tower 3 but I'm concerned that being from out of state and not knowing anyone, it will be difficult to make friends. I love to play sports and go out and be social but I'm worried with the apartment style housing it will be tough. I have also heard that a lot of upperclassmen live in the towers as well, but I would prefer to room with other freshmen. If anyone knew anything about the situation and could address my concerns it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I was recently accepted into Burnett also. I only plan on attending Fall/Spring 2014/2015, not the summer session so I did not even consider the Towers. I have heard they are nice and roomy though. I listed Neptune as my first choice and Nike/Hercules as my second choice because I have heard they are more social. Plus, I like the fact they are located near the intramural fields as well as the gym.
