UCF honors housing

I have recently been accepted to the Burnett Honors College at UCF, and I am interested in dorming in the Honors housing at Towers 3. The problem is, on the my.ucf page, I have already applied to live in the other dorms, (nike/hercules, libra, etc) and I was wondering if anyone has experienced this change in their mind, and how they went about it. I would really like to live with the other honors students, I just don't know how to apply for the Towers since I have already applied for the others. What should I do?

Call the housing office and let them know that you've been accepted to Honors and want Towers 3. They should be able to switch you.

My son didn't even apply to UCF until about this time two years ago. He was accepted to Honors, and was able to get the Towers 3 (which I HEARTILY recommend).

I thought housing wasn't open yet to preferences.... am i missing something? I can't find anything on D's MyUCF that lets me put in her preference...

Any help???

Thanks!

the preferences are not up yet.. i was talking about applying to the towers (the three semester contract) or the other dorms..
when you first apply for housing, you choose which contract you would like to apply for. then in late march, preferences come out

thank you soo much. do you know what time of year he was confirmed for housing when he applied at this time?

I honestly don't remember the specifics, but I think that if you call the Honors College and the Housing office, you can get your deposit transferred to Towers 3.
