The Honors dorms don't have the capacity to house every honors student. So if you're in honors, you're not guaranteed a room in the Honors Quad. It's a first-come first-serve basis, and from my understanding there's little to no room left at this point.

It's a tough deal to get an honors room... too bad they don't have enough honors rooms to house all the honors students.

I just called and accepted my honors housing offer on Friday. I visited campus on Saturday and toured Carothers...very nice...somewhat old, but I liked the feeling of community and how the quad is gated off. Now to find a roommate...

So from what I'm reading it looks like they go by order of acceptance into the honors program and not when you got your deposit in for honors housing. Do they still leave spots open to give on priority of $50 deposit?

Never mind, I received a call from a lady at housing today and found out I got into honors housing. Apparently there are still spots open.

I applied for housing the first day it came out in September but I didn't make my decision to enroll at UT till last week. So that means I didn't submit my contract and deposits until 4/20... Is there still hope for me to get Honor's Housing? Does the fact that I applied so early for housing help me in any way?

Does anyone know when we find out which of the three halls we'll actually be in?

in july when everyone finds out as far as i know.
