Honors Humanities- what is it like

I have a question about Honors Humanities. It sounds like a nice program.
The program seems geared towards the fine arts.
Can anyone describe the type of person that would be most comfortable in that program?

actors, musicians, writers, etc.

humanities does not necessarily mean fine arts, although it does include that. english majors, or foreign language majors, also technically are studying humanities. but the program isn't geared at all towards anything 'artsy'. one of my closest friends is a criminology major and she participated in honors humanities and loved it. also, her best friend is an architecture major and was in the program as well. they met a lot of people through it and got exposure to some neat areas of study they wouldn't have had the opportunity to explore otherwise.

Thanks. My son is accepted in HH and is doing the Penn State Honors (in-state) vs. UMD Honors with HH (OOS) analysis. Both seem fantastic with one difference being the lower in-state tuition at PSU.
