Honors or San Jac?

As an honors student, should I choose to live in the honors dorms or San Jacinto? Can someone compare the two?

My son is currently living in the honors dorm and has signed up to stay there again next year. The honors quad is older buildings, larger rooms (except for Blanton), a very quiet (longer and stricter quiet hours than other dorms) but also active community with many planned events, mostly community baths, closest dorms to center of campus, and close to the Kinsolving dining hall which is preferred over Jester dining by my son and his friends.
It was helpful to live there because he is in computer science honors and he often had to work on teams with other students in his class - they were all close together in the honors dorm. Many honors students study there in the quad. - there are many lounges, and computer rooms for the honors dorm residents to use.

San Jacinto is much newer, no community baths, and closer to the gym facilities and the largest library (PCL). I’ve heard its a nice, quiet community, too.
