<p>My D just received an e-mail inviting her to apply for the Honors program. Does anyone have any insight about the program? Has anyone else applied to the program? If so, how long did it take to receive a decision after you submitted the application?</p>
<p>There are previous Honors Program threads which may be worth reading. Eons ago I got an Honors degree, son is/was in the Honors program now. Worth it. Gives some separate classes, class sections, do more for that “H” on the transcript. See the College of L&S honors Program for the details. Liberal arts and math/science freshman sequences that are challenging. I like the program instead of separate college approach- no special dorms/isolation. A student can join it/leave it easily. Some additional activities- all optional. Honors SOAR advisors.</p>
