Honors programs? But I'm tired of being a nerd! *BOOBS INSIDE*

What’s up CC,

I just got an email saying I’m accepted to the UCSB honors program. Looks like it’s got some good benefits like priority registration, but it really spooks me too, cause it says stuff like “living in the scholars dorms” and “extended library privileges,” and I’m honestly really tired of hanging out with the “AP nerds.” Anyone know anything about this stuff? Can I become an honor and still become a cool kid? Also I’d like to transfer to Berkeley eventually cause SF’s a nice place so i’m guessing that’ll help out. So yeah please post here if you know anything about the honors program, thanks.

P.S. I really wish I could post some sweet tits for you guys but this place is sfw. However, I’m sure a quick google search for “boobs” will be right up your alley!

Alright mods please close this thread. I guess cc isn’t as much a place for advice as it is for mental masturbation.

this is too d*** funny.

College is nothing like high school lol you won’t even know if people were honor students unless they told you and unless you have an honor section with them. No one treats you like a nerd,if anything they’d encourage that. Everyone is a nerd in some way at a uc lol also some sororities and frats require you have a high gpa, so that can tell you what kind of people are “nerds”

  1. You do not need to live in a scholars dorm - and all that means is that it tends to be quieter.
  2. Library privileges means you can take out books for longer and have access to the graduate level stacks
  3. Transferring between UCs is difficult! Check on that before you finalize your decision

LOL, you’re going to UCSB. If you want to be social then just go walk around and make friends. People are really friendly, and although there are the “AP nerds” most of them like to turn up too. UCSB has many smart people that dabble in books as much as they dabble in social life. Get your head out of your a**, son.

Priority registration can be worth your weight in gold, depending on how fast classes fill at your school. Most honors perks are “take advantage of this if you want to” things.

Also, I was promised boobs. :((
