Honors Programs

I plan to apply for the Health Science Honors program and I wanted to know if it is worth it to take the Biology and Chemistry SAT Subject Tests before applying? The reason I'm asking is because I want to increase my chances of getting in, but if I wait until October 5 to take the exams, I wouldn't be able to send in my Honors application until early November.

What I'm trying to do is show that I'm good in science and in interested in the medical field. I think that my ECs show that I'm interested in the medical field, but I want to know if scoring well on SAT Subject tests will have an impact. I know that I can score at least a 650, if not higher (especially for Biology)...and worse case scenario a 600.

Also, keep in mind that UT Austin does not look at SAT II results for admission into the University itself.
