Honors roommate question

Can a non-honors student dorm in the honors dorm if requested by an honors student? Or are only honors allowed? Bc I think honors student can choose to live elsewhere, no?

I would be very careful selecting a non honor’s student to be your roommate. In the past several years the yield for the honor’s college has been higher than the number of beds available in the honor’s dorm. When my daughter was a freshman it was so high that most of the kids that choose non honor’s roommates were not placed in the dorm, or were not given their roommate preference. The honor’s students are going to have priority for that dorm and the only way that a non honor’s student ends up in the dorm is because there were not enough honor’s students to fill the beds.

@anxioussenior18 maybe put in for the friend roommate but put Living Learning as your first choice when filling out the app for housing (or whatever it is that shows you place higher preference to live in the door of your choice than with the roommate of your choice. That is, if that’s the case.
