Do med schools care or does it help if you're in the honors program at your undergrad school? I want to know if it's worth it for me to be in honors and have to take the extra classes.
thanks to anyone who can help out! :)

Basically, med schools will evaluate the following things: GPA (science and overall), MCAT, ECs, and recommendations. The higher your GPA and MCAT are, the better. I don't know if they consider honours classes, but I do know that they don't consider the difficulty of your major (which is why engineering majors are discouraged for pre-meds), and they don't consider the level of the pre-med courses (introductory versus advanced.) I doubt they'd consider honours, but I'm not 100% sure.
