I'm from Colorado and this year has been a pretty crazy one for college stuff. I took the SAT 4 times and finally scored combined 1200 M+R and a 1860 total. The scores I sent to UCLA, UCB, and UCSC were 1770(total) 530 M and 620 R

My SAT 2's were 640 Lit and 630 US Hisotry

I am #1 in my class and had a 4.44 GPA.

I was accepted to Berkeley, UCLA, and Santa Cruz as an out of state student.

My SAT's and the like never told the story of who I was over high school. I am that kind of student who was involved in everything, and eventually organized a fundraiser for my friend who died of cancer that raised 10k and attracted 500 walkers. I wrote about this for my essay, and I believe it is what got me into school.

So for those of you who are stressing, and coming into next year feeling like you're not a STAT powerhouse. Cheer up, rely on your passions, leadership, community service, and image to get you into the next level. I did, and hey-- I think I overcame the SAT.
