Hopeful transfer student to UC Davis or Irvine

I am hoping to transfer to either UC Davis or UC Irvine for the Fall 2014 semester. Please give your honest input.

Major: Economics

IGETC: Completed by this semester (Spring 2014)

Major related classes: completed marco econ with an A and calc 1 with a B. Im currently taking honors micro and calc 2 this semester. So my major related classes will be completed by this semester (Spring 2014)

GPA: 3.38

I have earned only As and Bs, no Cs Ds or Fs or withdrawals

In honors program at my community college

I would rank my essays as average, not amazing but not bad.

I was accepted to Cal Poly Slo, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UCSB as a freshman right out of high school but couldn't go because of money. So as a result I went to community college and I am currently taking a heavy course load so that way I can transfer in one year instead of two. (22 last semester and 18 this semester). I have 18 units from AP classes and I took a 4 unit class while in high school. So my total is 62 units.

I applied to UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UCLA. I know I have basically zero chance at UCLA but I wanted to give it a shot anyways.
So do I have a chance at Davis or Irvine?

Also I did not TAG to any campus, because as a one year transfer I wasn’t eligible

Wow! You’ve done a great job managing a monster course-load at the CC - I think, as an econ major, you’ve got a good shot at both but, UCs can be hard to predict. You are obviously very bright and very motivated. Hopefully you applied more broadly just to be safe. I’d hate to see you stuck.
Good luck!

Thanks! Im just really worried that I dont have TAG and I’ve applied for a competitive major
