Hoping to be a Crusader!

Hello,

I am a senior at a public high school and have recentley applied early decision to the College of the Holy Cross. This has always been my first choice school and am hoping to hear back from them soon. However, I am freaking out and wondering what my chances are of getting in. I have been talking to the track coach and have been working with him to be recruite. I am in the top 15% and did not submit my test scores. My other results are listed below.

Classes:

All honors and AP classes

Two College Course

EC:

Internship at local hospital, over 300 hours of volunteer service, character education Co-Chair, student council, dance committee, football, track and field (Captain), NHS, RIHS, and many others.

If you could please chance me!

Thanks!

If you are recruited for track and you are early decision, I have to think that you have an outstanding shot. Your extracurriculars are very impressive and they like it. Good luck!

Holy Cross teams are the “Crusaders”?!!!

I wonder how long before they’ll be forced to change that because it isn’t PC.

In any case, I think you have a good chance. :)

I’m kind of surprised that they haven’t been forced to change already. They could always switch easily to the Knights…

Does anyone know when I should be hearing from them? Or around the time

It should be any day now. I believe they have already begun sending notifications.
