It was a bit scary to watch Duke score, what, 5 unanswered goals at the start of the second half? But Hopkins prevailed. Congrats!

Great game! Hopkins definitely earned the championship especially being the underdog, seeded 3rd.

I was at the game with the other over 48 thousand fans to watch a fantastic victory for JHU. The stadium fans went crazy when Hopkins scored its first goal in the first 12 seconds. A 10 to 4 lead at halftime felt great but all of us knew Duke was the comback team. UNC had a big lead against Duke; Cornell had a big lead against Duke and yet Duke came back against them. JHU was ready and just as Duke was approaching, JHU scored two more goals to make it a victory proof lead of 12 to 11.

JHU is the Number One Research University in America and now has the Number One Lacrosse team. Great job by all the JHU players and coaches.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ;)

Hopkins lacrosse is a beast.

Um, JHU isn't the number one research university NOW and hasn't been for at least 80 years.
I think you've misread the typical JHU logo "First Research University in America."
Don't confuse "first" with "number one."

Hopkins Ranks first in research and development for the 27th straight year:

Hopkins was also first on the National Science Foundation's list of federally funded research expenditures, spending $1.277 billion in FY2005 on research funded by agencies such as the National Institutes of Health, NASA, NSF and the Department of Defense.

Someone's a jealous yalie.

I don't know, SergioValencie, PosterX, both from New Haven. Hmmmmm.......
