hi everyone.. so with a week left to decide on a school, im in a deadlock between hopkins and nyu. i got into arts and sciences at jhu, and steinhardt at nyu. the programs are pretty equal for me, as is the price.. the only thing im wondering about is international reputation. i know hopkins is ranked better on the US news ranking. but my ultimate goal is to live and work in london in the UK (something in the music business, but not performance). does anyone know if a degree from one school would set me up better for this than the other? or are they pretty equal in this respect?
thanks so much!!

Given your professional goals, NYU would be the better choice (both in terms of curricular offerings and resources in NYC); however, Hopkins provides a more traditional undergraduate experience (and an improved one over the last decade) that NYU does not offer. Although the student bodies are diverse at both institutions, NYU students tend to be more sophisticated; Hopkins students probably traditionally smarter.

hopkins has a better international reputation by far.
