NYU vs Johns Hopkins vs Rutgers?

Which is a stronger university overall--which one is more prestigious?
I am interested in International Studies.
I also do not want to be in debt for undergrad.

Well, I hear Johns Hopkins has an excellent internation studies (SAIS) program. For prestige, I would say NYU tops the prestige ladder internationally. As for in America, I really don’t know whether its JHU or NYU. It really depends though as JHU has great medical and international studies programs and NYU has great business and arts (I think its arts) programs. TBH, I don’t know much about Rutgers so someone else would probably be more qualified to make a better comparison between all three but I presume all three are great schools.

Thanks^

bump

Although i prefer NYU, I would say Johns Hopkins is the most prestigious out of the three. Rutgers is definitely third.

You could get a fine education at any of these universities. Of the three, Johns Hopkins has the best program in your major and is overall the most prestigious/hardest to get into. Both Johns Hopkins and NYU are very expensive unless you qualify for financial aid, and NYU is notorious for being skimpy with its financial aid offers. Rutgers is a great deal if you live in New Jersey; I don’t know what the OOS tuition is like.
