So, I have taken 9 AP classes all of high school. I only passed one of them, AP Psych :/
will colleges care? btw I don't plan on going to IVY or anything. I know its stupid to fail 8, but I have good reasons. I actually don't care about getting the credit at all, just care about my GPA. I would like to start college on a clean plate, nothing form the past. Why would they care anyways? Me not passing gives them more $ for classes. But I do feel kind of horrible now that it is over :/

I'm using my sisters account btw, so I really don't think shopping is life :p

Your parents will care about the checkbook. No fault of your own, but sounds like you are in an over rated high school. Private by chance? Both my kids had 7 ap’s , never studied and got all 3’s and 4’s. They both started at UCSD and U of Minnesota as sophmores with 30 plus credits. Yikes, did you get b’s and above in the classes? What is your high schools API rating? Colleges will know this for applications. What was your act/sat scores?

I probably will report none. I’m not trying to sound snotty at all, but my mom and dad won’t care about the checkbook. My dad is a doctor and my grandma is a millionaire. Again I’m really not, I’m very humble, It’s just the truth. I probably will get a bright futures scholarship anyway because I have the requirements. I go to public high school btw. I got As in most of the APs, couple Bs, and a C. My ACT score is 30. Again I hope I’m not rubbing off the wrong way. In all honestly, I’m a little weird; I have so much stress and anxiety. I live alone with my single mom and my sister, and my dad and grandma is nothing but a bank account to us because that is all they can give is $. No emotion or love.

Your act score shows You can take standardized tests just fine. That tells me your high school teachers suck academically, but not your fault. Have strong ec’s and be realistic about where you apply. You will be fine. Your a smart kid with crappy teachers. My kids ap classes have 90% pass rates.

Yes, we do have crappy teachers. & thank you and wow that is a lot! The most I’ve heard in my school is 60%, no joke. I’m applying to the University of Miami as #1 choice :)

University of Miami! Nice!

In terms of sending or not, I would advise that you don’t send any of your scores. Good luck!

You’ll be fine. You don’t have to send reports until you get in, and that’s if you mentioned them on the application. Don’t report any and try your best during your senior year. Good luck (:

I say don’t report them and everything should be fine

thank you guys :)!

Or you could try to retake…

I didn’t know you could retake?

There is no reason to retake AP exams!

Lots of people do poorly on the AP exams for any number of reasons. You only need to report the scores if you want to ask the college to give you credit for them after you enroll.

Alright, thanks! I’m not into the whole AP exams tbh I feel forced to take them haha

Whats that mean “private by chance?”

Maybe she said private my chance, because she thinks I’m spoiled or something lol.

lol I also went to a private school so I meet a lot of people who think I’m rich, spoiled, the whole ten yards. The truth is that I’m from a middle class family and my parents choose to spend their money on my education rather then on a vacation. I went to public elementary and intermediate school and I have to say that the difference is huge.

I went to a private Jewish school for freshman year. Yeah private+jewish+over priced= all rich jews. haha. My grandma paid for it too. (LOVE rich old people :p) haha. But she got mad at my family and refused to pay for the rest of high school, soo I went to public. I can honestly say at my public school, there are more STDS than people.

lol sounds like fun

ohh yeah-_____- haha
