I got a 500 on the Spanish Test......will this be considered not as bad because I am not a native speaker

It depends what schools you are applying to, although I highly recommend that you re-take it, because to me its a below average, you want at least a 600.

well i'm applying to cornell arts and sciences.....I'm African american so that can only help so much with it and i dont really have time to retake it

How are your other scores? I'd imagine if you scored 650- on all of your SAT IIs, you'd have a tough time being accepted to Cornell regardless of other conditions =

what spanish level are you in?

Honors Spanish 4...the only thing higher than it at my school is AP Spanish

will they ever jus disregard it lol

I ask again, what are your other SAT II scores? If the other scores are significantly better, most colleges only take your top 2 or 3 tests, so it should be fine ^^ Not too sure about Cornell though, but I'd imagine it works the same way
