Hotchkiss

You wish D'yer...I'm a rogue agent (and entrepeneur)!

I wanted to respond to the initial questions about Hotchkiss. My daughter is an upper mid there. She chose Hotchkiss after the revisits in the spring to several prep schools. It has been a perfect fit. At no other school were the students more "real" and friendly. The staff/faculty/administration have been nothing but supportive and professional since we began the process. The school is quite rural with just a few small surrounding towns, but a little over an hour to Hartford airport, and with trips to NYC not uncommon on weekends when there are no Saturday classes. Classes are small and the teachers excellent; classes rigorous but the teachers more than willing to do whatever it takes to help all their students succeed. For the most part, the majority of kids do not clear out on the weekends to their homes in nearby Mass., NY, RI. The weekends are filled with fun events, speakers, concerts, etc., and even the day students spend much of their weekend on campus. If there are any specific questions I can help with, please post them and I will do my best.

hotchkiss is very well known and I'm surprised that you haven't gotten alot of posts. It's a great school with a small student population. They have some of the most up to date facilities and their science labs could kick the butts of an average universities' lab. It's a great atmosphere and a great place to be
