<p>Any recommendations for an overnight stay over for Colby / Waterville. We have the list from the Colby.edu site, just looking for past experience. Thanks.</p>
<p>i stayed at the Pressey house when i visited the first time with my mother. its right on the lake and is about 15 mi from campus. we stayed in a really cool lower level room that was like Frodo's house in LOTR....and another 2 times we stayed at the hampton inn. my mom travels for business and she LOVES hampton inns.

<p>oh yeah and eat at Pad Thai on Kennedy Boulevard (thats the main strip) its a renovated fast food restaurant and its done up like a 50s rec room but its all thai..Thai rock and roller pictures, thai movie stars, Thai muscle car posters, thai record albums on the walls etc. ...very cool and the food is great ...if you like thai food.</p>

<p>There's this one place "Copper Heron" in China, ME that is REALLY nice, though it's 20 minutes away from Colby.</p>
