Housing application help

so i'm on the room environment section and the 4 options are

I do not smoke and request substance-free housing.
I do not smoke and request a non-smoking roommate.
I am allergic to smoke and request a non-smoking roommate.
I am a smoker and I understand that all residence halls are non-smoking.

the thing is i don't smoke cigarettes and i would hate to stuck in a room with someone who does, but i do enjoy spending some time with mary jane if you understand. I really don't want to be stuck with a smoker so i don't want to select the last one, so my other option would be the second one, but i don't want to be stuck with someone who is really uptight about my habits.

My understanding is that the whole campus will be smoke-free by the fall (including the dorms), so the question is really a hold-over that doesn’t apply anymore. Anyone think otherwise?

I have the exact same “habits” as you. I chose the first option. Like umich8790 said everything is smoke free so it doesn’t really matter. I don’t imagine myself lighting up in my room so often.

I do want a single, however and from what my friends have told me most are substance free so I figured that would help my chances.
