Trying to get into Bromley for 2019-2020 school year. When do applications start for regular and private housing?
No hurry. UIUC housing sign-up is basically like a lottery, there’s no advantage to signing up early. The deadline is usually in April and the lottery is over the summer, you are given a time and you can select any available room at that time or after. There is a housing webpage with all the deadlines and an FAQ http://www.housing.illinois.edu
For the private certified housing, you’d have to contact them directly or lookup their webpage. I don’t imagine Bromley is in huge demand with all the newer options on campus, but perhaps someone there or a recent resident can comment for certain. Either way, I doubt you’d need to take any action until perhaps December at the earliest but you could call to make sure.
