I was wondering if anyone knew how big the common space is that connects the 3 dorm rooms in 1019? Is it furnished with a sofa or would you need to bring a futon or some chairs?

Thanks AliAngel for checking out Towers.

no prob (10 chars)

the common room space is decent but not huge. maybe about the size of a single dorm room. there are a couple chairs and a love seat/sofa thing but a comfy futon never hurts

does towers west have only bunk beds? is there also a door on the closet?!

Since AliAngel told me Towers West is not renovated, the beds are not bunk beds. Only Towers East, which is renovated, has bunk beds (and carpeted floors).

yea towers west are regular beds, but towers east actually aren’t bunk beds in the sense but they’re lofted beds so your desk can go underneath. in east you can also unloft the beds and put them on the floor, they don’t have to be lofted.

Thanks for the correction. I confused bunk beds with lofted beds for a sec :o

Are the rooms on Towers East really small? It seems congested here: [Boston University Housing](http://www.bu.edu/housing/residences/largedorms/towers.html). Btw, which part of the Towers and BU in general are shown on 21?

towers east rooms are the same size as towers west. the furniture is also much easier to move around and i have seen residents do interesting things with their beds to increase the living space. i still have not seen 21 yet, though a friend of mine was an extra and it apparently was a room in towers and parts of cas and mugar.
